Blade Runner Cards

Hi guys, today I was in the mood to finish these two Blade Runner inspired cards:

Ooh - what process have you used to produce the cards themselves? I'm looking at doing a couple of keycards and thinking of printing onto a clear sticker sheet, then laying this over a 2mm plasticard sheet. These look very sharp/smooth.

Well, first I recreated all of them with CorelDraw, printed the front and backside on shiny photo paper with the highest quality settings of the inkjet printer. Waited about 30 minutes until the color got dried. Then I used a gluestick to glue all the prints on thin, but strong cardboard, cut them with a steel ruler and a cutter knife and glued the front and back parts together. In the end I rounded the corners.

Thanks - I might try it that way. Double siding it on 2 layers of card would actually be simpler than my plan to decal both sides of a piece of plasticard and then have to get the alignment spot on.

It's also overkill but for making a batch of these together, I'm also checking out clipper options. 3 in 1 Corner Rounder Punch, 4mm 7mm 10mm 3 Way Corner Cutter for Paper Craft, Laminate, DIY Projects, Photo Cutter, Card Making and Scrapbooking

I don't think the clipper is overkill at all! In fact, I have one of those! Best way to get neat rounded corners. You can find the same device cheaper on AliExpress ;)

For interest... this is where I got to with those security cards - this is printed on paper, spray adhesive onto 2mm plasticard and then sides cut with standard craft knife. The discount paper corner cutter is... not up to the task of clipping 2mm plastic corners, so will take a look at a heavier duty option (one that looks like a belt hole punch). I've hacked at the corners with a craft knife and it gives a good idea of what the final product should look like, albeit some room to improve.

I have both the black one you have pictured as well as the blue 3-sizes one you had in the earlier link. The black one is definitely not up to the task of anything more than a single sheet of paper. The blue one can handle a bit more though I haven't tried it with plasticard.
