Blade Runner Blaster

I have a Blade Runner blaster in my possession. It came from a person who has worked in the film industry for very long time, who acquired it directly from a production member. It is made from resin and measures approx. 9in long. It has MADE IN AUSTRIA 5223 on one side and STEYR- DAIMLER-PUCH A.G. STEYR MANNLICHER MOD. SL" on the other side. This gun matches identically to the other rubber stunt guns used in production, which makes me wonder if this could have been a trial run, prototype or a paint test Marquette?

I was just wondering what every ones opinions are on this or if anyone has come across something like this before?

Many thanks
