Hi
I’m new to this so please let me know if I’m in the right area.
I’m currently looking at an assembled WorldCon Sidkit for sale on eBay, asked a few questions and got this reply from Mike aka Vintagismo in Italy.

Hello, i assume from your questions that you don't know I am who made this blaster in the late 2008.I am Michele Possanza, aka sidkit. You would like grey smoked grips or transparent one to built a ghost blaster? The sidkit always comes preassembled to save building time, about red plug you can remove it, most people replace it with an aluminium or steel one. If you want a personalized kit we can talk about it and i can produce one for you.You certification is that I am sidkit, I sell blaster time to time just for fun.Hello, i assume from your questions that you don't know I am who made this blaster in the late 2008.I am Michele Possanza, aka sidkit. You would like grey smoked grips or transparent one to built a ghost blaster? His answers don’t ring true and no mention of Siderio and his passing.

Anyone had any dealings as he seems to have sold two other blasters and or comments about whether he sounds legit or not.

Many thanks

Gosh, this person is always so defensive and dramatic!
Just for your information, if you want to read his very last message on this forum with the lastest drama he was involved in:

I used to defend him on facebook and forums everytime someone was mentioning ditutto that was supposedly recasting his blasters and so on. Seriously, I have spread good words for him for years. Now I have stoped. When you have been on the forum longs enough, you just don't know anymore, There are 2 or 3 italian prop makers that have been working together or against each other on and off over the years and everytime, it ends up in huge drama. It started with the sidkits, the Cristal skulls being the lastest here. I don't know who to believe anymore, the stories are always crazy and the language is always very approximative, very defensive, very high caps, and VERY DRAMATIC!

Wow ok, heard about probs with di-tutto and blasters, but no one claiming to be Michelle and claiming Siderio’s name and legacy.
Just seen the item has been removed from listing, so maybe too many others asking questions too.

Thanks for the extra info,

Cheers

it's still showing on ebay for me

Yep he’s put it back on as an auction, was on BIN Eur590.
Partly what made me suspicious was the low price.
Maybe he’ll catch someone.

I am sure, those sell regularly and have been for years. And, i'm not saying he will "catch someone", I don't think he has scammed people with his ebay account. People will keep buying those because of the reputation of those kits and because they don't care about the behaviour of that person online. I'm just drawing attention to the drama he always gets involved in, and that he now owes money to several RPF members and has disapeared since then with a big dramatic exit. I would have never said a world before, in fact, like I said, i have been actively defending him before because someone else (ditutto) was scamming people of their money with alleged recasts of his work and sometimes not delivering as well or delivering less good quality than he was showing in listings. Now that he (atimesidkit) has disapeared with people's money here, I won't defend him anymore and will draw attention to that the same way I was drawing attention to the fact Ditutto was having issues.
I hate recasters, scammers and drama queens, I work hard for the stuff I produce, I don't like thieves profiting of this community, my customers and myself. This is a community, I try to help builders as much as I can here, and I hate that people are scamming some of us, so I'll do my best when I can to try to avoid people loosing their hard earned money.

Ok so you are saying that the quality of his “Sidkit WorldCon” blasters are legit and worth the money, as long as bought through eBay and protected by the MoneyBack guarantee ?

I can't vouch for that as I have never bought one and don't know if they have kept quality over the years.
And I'm not supporting that seller anymore as he owes money to people here.

Be suspicious. It's safer.

The whole sidkit issue has been a strange arrangement from the beginning. The whole goofy sidkit/coyle/michele relationship was odd.

If you feel comfortable ordering from them, do what you like. Their arrangement never made me comfortable.

When I was building these, the parts I saw tended to be of comparable quality with what Coyle was producing domestically.

If you actually do receive this, the metal parts were generally serviceable and you should have little trouble building a decent replica.

Be suspicious? I don't know collectors that were unsatisfied about my sidkit blaster, you are describing me, coyle and props-models like a mafia triad .My silence is because i sell a sidkit time to time, just to remember that my sidkit blaster still exists and i don't do pounding business with my blaster.Coyle and props-models are other things they answer for themselves. However, every time that a collector needs help with my blaster or asks for replacement parts i always am prompt to give him my support.

Best regards,
Mike

I think its real, if though it might be a remake using the original molds. I have built several SID Kits and that's what they look like. My only gripe with the SIDKIT is the grip is small, I asked SID about this when he was still alive and he said Harrison Ford had a small hand, that's why his grip is small.

I have had a few chats with Michele Possanza, that's sort of the way he is and talks, he is proud if nothing else, as for di-tutto, his name is also Michele, and I have had several dealings with him, all positive, I have bought from him on eBay and through his own website, "Models and Props", he does awesome work!

di-tutto is the ONLY ONE I know of who offers a totally finished all metal K Blaster, all of his items are fully finished all metal props. His prices are fair, and everything I bought shipped from Italy quickly and without issue.

When the other guy was trashing him here on the RPF, saying how dishonest he is and how he stole his work, I contacted Michele, (di-tutto), and he sent me a link to an Italian news article about Michele Possanza cheating on his taxes, got raided by the Gov and they seized tons of counterfeit props from his shop, so said the article.

I also kept in contact with Michele, (di-tutto) during COVID because I heard how bad it was there, I will vouch for him 100%, he is a great guy from all my experience over some years.

So, at the end of the story the honest and good guy is di-tutto. I'm really amazed from your words! I am sure that you had good transactions with di-tutto because the items you received are almost recasted from my all production. you are speaking about "poor air". my work is stored on propsummit.com where is listed also the online instructions of my entire work. If I did my props before him and on propsummit.com you can see my work of art how di-tutto models-props can be the maker? About the article you received from di-tutto, it's about my spectacular productions; infact, the gov thought I produced real firearms. And this article is is of 2008 and di-tutto started to recasting me two years later. Seen you are so much informed, please, send me the infos you received from him so I can proceed to denounce him.
Best regards, Mike

Oh, you are back now? What about finishing those Cristal skulls or paying back those people you owe money to?
I never gone, the cristal skulls were all produced, but someone decided tha some of them were a reimbursement of his hard works also if that work was use some putty on a 3d printed prototype i made. It's easy to throw mud to me. I didn't and don't make selling threads. I only made props, probably a very nice props, for others who sell a lot in RPF. I've worked with sarednab without any problems for years and never had any problems. I only had to make one mistake, i choose another partner , and now I'm to blame for everything.

Regards, Mike

Several people have posted screen grabs of their paypal payments to you and have never received their skulls.
It's not enough to say you produced them if people didn't receive them. It's easy to say it's someone else's fault, but in the end, you got the money for the run, you did the work, you did not deliver, and several people lost their money because of your choice of partnership, it's your responsibility to refund people or ship them their cristal skulls. What goes behind the scene with your partner is none of our concern or responsibility. People need to get what they paid for, that is all, no excuses, so stories, no big dramatic messages in all caps, just what they paid for. If you can't accept this, you don't deserve to work here or advertise your work here, not until everyone that paid for something from you has received what they paid for or been refund.
No need for more excuses here, the Cristal skull thread is pretty clear and is an unresolved issue:

The fact i received the money yes, i spent more then received due to the covid problems yes, i finished the production yes and at the the end there were no earnings.I ask help to peter to resolve this matter but he replied he couldn't.I am not advertising my works, i don' t need to do.I am no more in prop making and my new work is a little different.I am here because my sidkit blaster, you wrote about crystal skull.I can't make more skull because the molds are gone end remake them would cost too much.I am sorry for the six persons that did not received them, but really i can't efforts the costs to cast new skulls.I could try to make another thread for the crystal skull to compensate the cost, but i am sure i will be not able to find 20 interested collectors. If you' ll find 20 interested people i will resolve all matters.

Regards ,Mike

It's good that you are admitting 6 people didn't receive their skulls or money back and I understand life is hard, I'm not going to make this about me, but believe me, I understand, making props is my full time job and it has been very hard for me this year.
However, you just can't let people take a, what was it, 600-800€ loss because of issues between you and your partner. I understand things are hard, but you need to take full responsibility for this, you have a job, you admitted you won't be able to deliver those skulls, ok. Now, every month, you pay back 100€ to each people on the list one by one until every one has his money back. You need to consider this as a loan, people loaned you money for your business a few years back and now you need to pay your "investors" back over time.
Cheers
