Here you go! Pics of the parts and the assembled mini next to the full sized one. It's essentially the exact gun as our full size, just small enough to conceal carry!

I didn't even do an assembly video, as it's the same.

I decided to keep the Steyr-Daimler and Made in Austria engraving from the big one too

Amber grips are in the plans, will take some time for theRocketer to make them...

Re: Blade Runner Blaster "mini" - AKA The Firecracker

You bunch of bullies! I'm printing the grips on the SLA as I type, will send them up to TheRocketeer too!

This will look great alongside my DaveG snub nosed. I can’t wait to see the final pricing. Take your time and get it right. I’m sure we will all appreciate it in the long run.

Then I might be in.

Looking at the pics how hard will it be to sand the print lines? I have not worked with 3D printed stuff before.

Thanks

This is my V2 full sized kit that was done by @Shataan, he did a hell of a job...

Re: Blade Runner Blaster "mini" - AKA The Firecracker

I am interested in a kit with standard grips (non-amber).

I too am interested in know more about sanding down the print lines. This will be my first project and I am curious to know how to sand out the lines without losing the detail of lettering, etc.

Sorry, PLA it is. I used to use ABS, but the fumes (and dust) are nasty

lots of different grit sand papers (60 - 220) and various types of flat and needle files should be able to get everything quite smooth. Then give it a pass with some filler primer and another pass at sanding then paint away. You shouldn't be able to tell by then that it's a printed part.

Re: Blade Runner Blaster "mini" - AKA The Firecracker

Anyone worried about finishing 3D printed parts, make sure to check out Punished Props videos on youtube. He molds and casts a lot of 3D printed parts, so they're always super smooth before molding. It's the same method but just paint it instead.

I agree but it's more user fiendly when come the time of finishing it. Anyway the prop still look cool either in ABS or PLA.
