Blade Runner Blaster - measurements needed

So, after seeing dozens and dozens of BR blasters here on the forum (and the collection Adam Savage calls his own, click here if you don't know it), and realizing that I've never seen this movie, I thought I'd give it a try, watched it the other day...and yes, I really liked it.
And after watching, my next thought was okay...I want a Blade Runner blaster :D

I'm planning to make it from scratch...out of wood. Seeing some of the great blasters here I know that it will be a lot of work, but hey, everyone has to start once, right? I also know that there are fantastic kits to buy on the interweb, but I'm planning to include a special feature...now I got your attention, right? :lol I won't get into detail yet (because I'm not sure if it will work out the way I've planned it), but you will hopefully see it soon. It won't be 100% accurate, but if everything works as I imagine it, I will be pretty much pleased.

Having my last exam for this semester next week, I will have some time to build that thing (or at least start it), but also won't start the build. I wanna gather as much information as possible until then. Google is my friend here, I've found pictures from all different angles, beautiful sketches (made by one guy from the propsummit.com) I will start with, but either I can't use google or the search function properly, or this one information is nowhere to find, so I'll try it here:

how long is that thing? more precisly, what is the length from the end of the buttpiece (is that its name?) to the end of the barrel (as indicated on the picture below)?

I guess I can calculate out the other things when I have the length, so if anyone could help me out with this I would be very grateful.

As I said, it won't be that accurate...but I think at least the size should be :lol

Thanks in advance!

Careful with that line drawing. It looks proportionally inaccurate in just about every way. I laid it over my Offworld and it's pretty wonky. I'd start by blowing up an actual photo of the gun from both sides.

The offworld is what is all wonky. That model is very inaccurate. If you head over to propsummit, you'll find all the information you need to scratch build a blaster.

Thanks!
...but now it looks like I really can't use a seach-engine properly :lol
I guess I'll take a closer look to their Baster-section again, with so many threads, it's easy to oversee something

Stay tuned
