Sometimes I wonder why I do this to my self, but realize I've been left unsupervised for far too long, so it's not my fault. Plus, I enjoy the challenge this presents.

After years of making barrels (Tomen, SidKit, Anders, Doran versions) and then cylinders for the Tomenosuke blaster,

I acquired a Tip Top Workshop printed Anders version of the blaster and one day while moving things around, it fell and broke some parts. Gluing them wasn't an option, so I decided to machine replacements. But that's when the intrusive thoughts won and I decided to machine a few parts in metal and eventually working up to the entire blaster being machined from metal. Why? I don't know, the voice said it would be fun and it'll be pretty cool.

Also, recently at work, we got a resin printer... I have the 3D files Anders released... Voice: Use it to print out parts and offer resin kits with metal parts then offer a full metal blaster kit. Voice has a point, and I agree, so I'll follow through with it and offer the following two kits:

Kit 1: Metal and resin parts. This will be the economic version which will have some basic metal parts and the rest of the kit will be resin.
Kit 2: Full metal jacket. Everything will be machined from stocks of either steel or aluminum as required. This won't be cheap but I'll do my best to keep the cost down.

The kits, especially the full metal kit is a ways out, but I am starting to make parts in small batches to feed this beast of a project. I've already started with the first bunch of parts and plan to start machining them when I'm on holiday this month.

The first bunch of parts that I'm going to machine, aside from the barrel, are as follows:
- Cylinder (Steel)
- Swing Arm (Steel)
- Nub (Steel)
- Slide front pin (Steel)
- Butt Plate (Aluminum)
- Inner Handle (Aluminum)
- Outer Handle (Aluminum)
**Hammer, Triggers and Trigger Guard won't be available until at least Feb 2025 possibly later.

Yes, I'm going to make the cylinder... I said I wasn't, but here I am making it. Since this kit doesn't actuate the cylinder for rotation, then I can take a couple of liberties in the machining of it making things simple. The resin won't hold the steel and snap, so I need to make the swing arm and while I'm at it, I need to remake the nub due to a liberty I'm taking with the cylinder.

Anyone want any parts, I'm now taking orders.

Here's the pricing: in EUROS
- Barrel - 60
- Cylinder - 110
- Swing Arm - 50
- Nub - 10
- Slide front pin - 10
- Butt Plate - 40
- Inner Handle - 60
- Outer Handle - 80

If bought as a set, the price (Raw machined finish) is 380 plus shipping (estimated 30-40 euros depending on location)
Individual parts or a combination of parts are also available, please contact me for which parts and shipping cost.

Stay tuned... waiting on a Tomenosuke...

*UPDATE* Jan-10-2025

Hi mate, do you know if a cylinder is possible to ship to the uk? And will the parts be able to swap with the Anders kit? Cheers

I've shipped tomen cylinders and barrels in the same box without issue. They are declared as "metal toy parts". So yes, they ship to the UK.

The parts are direct replacements with the resin parts. The cylinder however requires the swing arm and nub that sits inside it. Those parts I offer as a set only to make life simple.

Just curious, what is your plan for the trigger advance notches on the back of the cylinder? Are you planning on including them like Anders did on his design, or will you be deleting them? Just curious about the liberties ? I knowm they are not functional, but I know some people may want that. I am definitely interested a few of the parts you will be offerring. I have picked up a few of your other barrels and cylinders for my Tomen's and the have fit great.

Since it's not functional and I don't have to make it exactly as it is, I have some leeway in the design to make it machine friendly. It'll still look like it's functional though. Some of the other liberties I've taken are making the wall of the hole where the nub sticks out thicker, deleted that tube that slides into the cylinder then added a thicker wall to the hole where that tube sat. The swing arm is also replaced since the steel will snap that resin without any real force (as my blaster demonstrated without even falling, just an abrupt stop to a side motion). That's why the cylinder is a set of 3 parts (Cylinder, swing arm, nub)... I don't want to hear "your cylinder broke my blaster" from anyone, so it's easier to just make the surrounding parts so things don't break.

Thanks for the kind words, I do appreciate it. Wait until you see what else is coming for the Tomenosuke.... MOAR METAL!!!!

Quality parts! I love my parts from you. Ooo keen on what other metal parts for an Tomen. I’m still waiting for the day I can get a metal bulldog receiver for one of my blasters. A boy can hope haha. Finding a bulldog in UK is a hard find.

i have been waiting so long for someone to do exactly this , i have printed the anders blaster in resin and pla like 2 years ago and just wasnt happy with finishes on some parts when i started to assemble and i wanted them in metal, thank you for doing this !

I actually just sent you a message on Etsy about this very subject. I *JUST* bought your resin kit with the extra metal parts/LEDs, but I would muchhhhhhh rather have the all-metal version! Please send me a message so we can chat... :)

i'm not on etsy, and I don't sell any resin kits yet. So, if you would be so kind as to provide me a link to said etsy shop you spoke with that you've mixed up with me, i would greatly appreciate it. Should be fun. :)

Whooooooooopsie..... I posted this on the wrong thread.
(The price of doing mega research in a rush and having like 10 windows open...)
I meant to post that to Dave's (Tip Top Workshop) "interest" post regarding another all metal production run.
I was looking at his kits on Etsy, which is where I saw the resin kit with some metal parts, but after I saw his post here I inquired on Etsy about cancelling the resin kit to go with the all metal one. It is also on his website.
