Blade Runner 2049 K's props

I don't know if I'm posting in the right place so apologies in advance if I'm not. In Blade Runner 2049 in K's apartment I'm noticing all the props in the kitchen. First of all, why does he need pitchers, pots, pans, a German toaster? I don't know but,.....did you notice the pots on the stove? Flat lids, large, black, interlocking handles, does anyone know what those are? I can NOT find them anywhere! I'd really appreciate some feedback on this if you have time.

Well, to the question: "Why does he needs pitchers, pots, pans, a German toaster?"...that's another discussion altogether.;)
Now the 2 pots in question; seems to me that, maybe, the prop guys shopped in the ex-Soviet parts of Europe.
Second, I don't believe (again, my 2 cents worth), that these are actual "cooking pots" per say. Seems to me that these kind of heavy-duty hardware is used for another purpose altogether. The big problem is what kind of use and where to look.
Sorry if you'd thought about those variations before, but that's the only ideas that come to mind...so far:unsure:

No, no, that's fine! I appreciate all feedback because I can't figure them out! But I think you're correct-they may have been used for something else entirely. Thanks!

Looks like a vintage aluminum stove top pressure cooker. The lid has been changed/flattend and it does not have the pressure gauge. Mom had the base back when I was a kid
