The film picks up nine years after Rachael and Deckard leave LA. Rachael shuts down, and Deckard drinks himself into a stupor, knowing the authorities have honed in on the Nexus 6 homing beacon. Deckard is arrested for treason, but then sprung. He is brought to NYC at the request of the Tyrell Corporation–run by Eldon Tyrell’s brother; the real Rachael’s father.

The story has many moving parts that tie in with the original story, with details that the casual viewer may have missed. The plot gets very involved, filled with twists, turns, crosses and double-crosses–where Deckard finds himself making some difficult decisions between the law and love.

The look of this movie is amazing. This guy has some talent. Makes me want a Ridley Scott Blade Runner sequel even more. Until then, I would love to see this one.

It looked good but I would edit out the scene with all the NYC cabs we see a Spinner then we see a bunc of present day taxi cabs it takes away from the illusion that it's in the future.

Just got this email from Matt Mickelson:

BLADE RUNNER 2 FANS,

ALCON Entertainment has asked me to pull down all of my BLADE RUNNER 2, Trailers, scenes, and stills, that have content on the internet referring to the prior film BLADE RUNNER, 1982. I was well aware that I do not own the rights and would never make any money on this project, but it was a story I felt compelled to tell. Between my Harrison Fordiness, the story I couldn’t shake, and my urge to make something –
I just had to do it. I am so glad you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
I understand why they must take action at this point and I fully agree and will comply.
ALCON has been very polite and they were very impressed with the work we did on
our no budget BLADE RUNNER 2 – FAN FILM. Unfortunatly our project may interfiere with the future marketing process and that could generate confusion over the internet with fans.
I want Ridley Scott’s BLADE RUNNER sequel to succeed as much as any fan, filmmaker, or film company with millions of dollars on the line. I hope you have all
Enjoyed this project’s fits and starts, and struggles that come with making a passion project.
If anyone has any questions, email me at mattfilm@gmail.com
THANK YOU.
