Blade Builders toy help.

Hey guys and gals,

My niece was playing with the blade Builders saber I got her for Christmas and the blade tip broke off. I want to remove the blade from the saber but can't find a safe way to do that because, if you have one you will notice, the blade is made of a shatterable plastic so unlike the old ones, you can simply squeeze and pull it out with pliers.

There are NO visible screw holes for the blade to be removed or any pop-off pieces so help will be much appreciated.

I would say maybe a Dremel and cut it as far down as possible and try and go from there grinding the rest away again with Dremel bits

I thought this as well at first but the blade rotates so it must be hooked under the led housing disk:/
