Ok, hit a bit of a snag. The supplier just sent me this image of the coin and I'm not happy with the product. I've asked them to go back a re-tool it because her image looks terrible and the text is incorrect. Hopefully this won't delay the process for too long.

Looks rough. Jinyo's coins had a 3d look with a sculpted figures. I was highly impressed by what he did, which may be more the specific manufacturer. I noticed there are knock offs of his coins on eBay and the sculpts are almost like this, just off in the workmanship. It would be interesting if you could contact him for where he went for his designs to be made.

We have tried countless times in the last 12-18 months to contact him but he has never replied. I was hoping to go through the same company he used if possible.

This was supposed to be a 3D sculpted image and the proof they sent me showed it as a 3D sculpted image. I ended up contacting over a dozen companies about these and based on previous samples from each, we decided this company had the best products to offer. Their previous works demonstrated the ability to produce a coin at the same level as the ones Jinyo had made.

Because they are overseas I can't communicate with them in real time so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get a response to the message I sent them today.

Yea, I've tried Jinyo on here and on facebook. @tripoli trust us we too are not happy with this coin and won't be happy with anything less then perfect.

He has been on the board a few times, pm'd him myself a few weeks ago but with no reply.
Last post was in August but he was on the board 17 hours ago from this post.
I was a bit disappointed as I had bought a few sets with the idea pf completing them as well I got a couple friends hooked on them and then the project stopped in the middle. As well would have bought more if I could but just no replies.

I may have found a supplier who can get these made properly. Once I have more info I'll let everyone know.

Sorry for all the delays on this. I didn't think it would be this difficult to arrange.

I'm just waiting for a sample coin to arrive from the new company and if it checks out then I can go forward with getting these ones made and start on the rest of the series.

Sorry, don't want to keep you all in the dark. I was waiting for a sample to arrive from a new company before I was willing to invest anymore money. Needless to say. I was very happy with the sample and am currently in the process of having them complete the artwork so we can move forward with this one. Once I have an approved 3D image, I'll post it here to give you an idea of what the coin should look like.

Had to send the first artwork back for a few tweaks. I was advised that with this being a short week (closed due to the holidays) that I would get a reply sometime next week. If it's good to go then they will start production right away. Will I be able to get them before Xmas? That I can't promise at this time.

Just got a render back this morning so I'm looking for some feedback. If people are happy with this then I'll give the go ahead and get production started.
