Bio-mask 2.0

I agree, the execution of the spots is perfect, although maybe if you tried diversifying both the colors and the placing of the wear n tear spots? Make it look more heterogenous, some damage old, some new, thrown in a little oily green and dirt brown.

That little critique aside, I have to say this though: Awesome job. Off the charts outstanding, I really love how you documented all the necessary steps and put in explanations and all. And the finished product speaks for itself. I followed the link to your facemask thread, and it's just as awesome as the bio! How does it feel to finally put your own bio on your own finished mask??? :)

Very nice! Looks spot on. If you do sell these, will there be a finished option and will there be a choice of finishes?

Have to agree that the weathering is a bit heavy on it.here's a few pics of what I consider a great weathering on a bio.
Granted the pics aren't that great but the bio looks even more impressive in person.

the following pics are from our own Ta2pro:

had to trade this one but the paint job has always stuck with me as one of the best.

Thank you all for the input. I was painting those things at 1 am trying to get some ready for people by halloween, but when i got done i was thinking it might be a tad heavy. I think i need to switch back to my duel action airbrush so i can get a finner bead and water the paints down more. I will post more up soon!

Yea sure, i can paint it however you want. I am prepping another mask right now and i should have some pics of a more toned down weathering soon.

Ok here is the newest paintup. Its a lighter silver color and all the weathering is more watered down and sublte. I mixed some more browns into it but kept it all light and translucent. I cut up a replacment motercycle helmet visor and epoxy sculpted it in. Thanks for looking.
