hey guys, took a chance and bought a Joker coat online from EMPIRE WORLDWIDE TRADING, they have pics of the real Joker outfit on their site claiming their coat is the best and most accurate out there, yadda, yadda, yadda.... Well , the coat is NOT accurate in a few details, no slits in the rear of the jacket, no buttons on the cuffs, the large size is still a little too small and tight for someone 6' 4" and also made with cheap material for the price they are selling it for. Plus they overcharged on the shipping by 4 times... It is worth a 1/4 of what they are asking for. I got burned...so please I hope you guys learn from my PAINFUL FRACKIN mistake. Stick with Magnoli.

There are warnings all over the web about buying from Empire Worldwide... I almost got myself suckered into some of their Jack Sparrow stuff but I looked for reviews before I committed (I've been suckered before, unfortunately).

Just curious, do you have pictures of how it turned out? Might help with some other folks decisions on that coat if they know what it REALLY looks like

yeah i wanna see

i was looking at his customer photos
i have talked to the guy in the first one about his coat, and i know he made it himself
so hes taking credit for other peoples work too

here are a couple of shots. the lining is fine , right shade of orange but the coat is made of felt, wrinkles very easily as you can see. and like I mentioned is not accurate in detail. I haven't checked but the buttons look too big as well.

One of those pics on their page is a friend of mine, Sam. And I know for a fact that he made it himself (with a little help from his mum). I wonder if he knows about this. Have to let him know.

Get one of the Baron Boutique new joker coats if you want accuracy. Bit more pricey but less then others. I highly recommend them.

That Baron Boutique coat is really good. I was just wondering if the purple wool was a bit to light, not sure could be just the pictures on the site.
Wonder how much price difference it would make if you send them your own wool to work with?

I wondered about that as well, until I started going over (and over) the Joker promo pics, the costume on display and the screencaps from the film. If you look at the actual coat when it toured in various cities, where pictures were taken under normal lighting, you can see that the coat matches the boutique coat. If you get a chance, check out the joker costume thread. I posted a few pics there and the coat appears darker in the pics I took then it does on Baron's website. If you do decide to get their coat, be sure to ask for the template I sent them.
