Best Materials To Build A Replica Skywalker Ranch Model

I am looking to build a replica model of the Skywalker Ranch and would like suggestions on best materials to construct such a thing plus size recommendations. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions on how best to approach this project.

I'd go one to one scale.

Materials.... Hmmm.... Well the original was built with from the profits of the blood, sweat and tears of many talented people, artists and model/prop makers. I'd start there....

I'd say 1:24 scale for the buildings, and then make the archive filled with tiny archive pieces, so tiny people can actually go and check it out!
