Hey guys... This is my first real swing at a serious costume and I've never had to buy one of these suits before. I'm doing a Native American version of Captain America. A lot of the pieces, I'm using real deer hide on, but I need a white suit with a flat/matte look to it to wear underneath. The suit will be very visible in parts of the arm and leg. And a shiny suit would really clash with the era Im shooting for and the other materials being used.
I read a little bit here and there saying that modal has a flat look to it. But I also read a TONNNNN of reviews that said many people are allergic to it. There is nothing I know of that I'm allergic to, but still that concerns me. So without knowing WTH I'm talking about, I'm going to make a blind assumption that the next best thing is cotton Lycra? Or am I totally off the mark?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
