Best ESB Vader Helmet available today

I would like to know your opinions about the best ESB Vader helmet available nowadays, doesn't matter the price, just considering characteristics like; screen-used accuracy, shape, paint job etc, and other question, besides Ebay which website is the best for buy props like Star Wars helmets,

The most easily obtainable that isn't coming from dubious vendors is the Darth Stone helmet.

Might be on the fence for a new costuming helmet myself...Is DS´s helmet easily convertable for trooping/ is it light or too heavy?

Reason I´m asking is that I already have a JB/GH combo, which is definately too heavy and brittle for costuming so I went with a heavily modified CA.

I already got the Rubies Fiberglass LE helmet which I think is really good, I know that it comes from the ESB moulds, is the Vader Stone Helmet come from the same moulds?, is a recast from the 20th helmet?

DS is a member here. Contact him for price infos. But i can say that its by far the most accurate helmet available, regardless if you want to troop in it or just display it...also the price is very interesting.

The Rubies is faaaaar removed from the originals and the 20th C. No direct connection between the Rubies and the 20th C either. The Rubies comes from the mold that was provided to Don Post and it has been severely reworked... also... source is more likely RotJ tour than ESB.

Differences between the two:

The 20th C is from a tour helmet, much closer to the originals - finished up in a somewhat non-screen used fashion and with a RotJ dome. DS reverse engineered the dome into ESB specs and the helmet looks very good.

The best however would be the TM ESB, but that is not available. However, there have been copies previously owned that have come up for sale. So you could always keep an eye open.

Some of the original copies have changed hands is what SL is saying....does not happen often but it has happened.

Sounds like you have the DS information already, thats the best bet.

I was only guessing. Because I´ve been recasted so often in the past.
