Bespin Guard Blaster

So I got my hands on a nemrod harpoon gun and am looking to make it into a blaster. I’ve found some great photos of the prop but have no clue on the greeblies. Has anybody 3D printed these parts before? I’d be interested in buying them. If anyone has knowledge on this prop I’d really appreciate it!

They're on shapeways - most of the greeblies are unidentified

the piece on the back is from the same V8 kit that the motorcoil plate is from. There might be a calculator button on it, I'd check around the old RPF threads. There is threaded rod sticking out the back, make of that what you will. I personally wanted that to run from the muzzle to a T nut holding the back piece on, but couldn't make it work. Remember to keep the safety button popped in the correct side!

Interesting - i ask because the one I had was stuck so tight i ended up drilling and sawing it off only to find out it was separate pieces!

I really appreciate the help! Thanks so much! I found CBS props by toolguy301 but he doesn’t have all of the greeblies. He’s got the side stir sticks and all of the barrel and muzzle parts though.

Just a quick update! This is how far I’ve gotten. Fully disassembled, cleaned, sanded, all small dents and logos removed and filled with bondo and sanded flush and smooth. I’ve also received the expertly cast parts from Sjanish and Dann! They are gorgeous! I’ve laid them out on the blaster but have not glued anything yet. I still need to measure and shorten the barrel a little. Also! The previous owner of this harpoon gun carved his name into the top of it which I found very charming. Of coarse I sanded and filled his engraving, it’s mine now! Haha.

Also! I’m attaching things differently than I’ve seen others do. I’m trying to find room for electronics in the grip. Right now nothing is permanently attached! Some of the pictures I shared show incorrect orientation of the safety and the greeblies. I’ll make sure everything is in its place before I go glueing.

I have casts from my collected model parts (the V8 and Phantom kits) and I scratch built the other greeblies. Gotta love this build - yours is looking great!

Thanks! It’s been such a fun build so far. I should have more photos to share here in the next couple of days. Thanks for stopping my my thread! This is such a cool looking blaster. Quite a departure from all of the Star Wars weapons based off of real firearms and flare guns.
