Ben gardner head from jaws WIP paintup

Well this is an old sculpt of mine, from the scene in Jaws when the head comes out the bottom of the boat

Still working on it, got to add hair, teeth etc
heres one i finished a while ago

and the original prop

i remember that scene scaring the poo out of me in the theaters back then. Great prop , but not one i would have in the dinning room

Wasn't there a company which sold copys of the actual prop head? Cinema Secrets or Hauntedprops...can't remember. Good work though!

here it is, i think its just as a generic severed head now though

I need to pick one up and redo it, nothing better than the real deal

i wouldnt buy one of those things Ian mate, the eyes are terrible and on the whole it screams cheap n nasty to me.... stick with your sculpted job bud.

But thats taking nothing away from Ian's continually great work - his Ben's are gruesome, awesome and original! - I'm just saying that those head props actually are a good base to work from for the keen customiser.

As Ian points out, they were "discovered" a while after he finished his great sculpt.

For those who do not wish to put a ton of modification work into the prop, Frosty's are totally the way to go - they really do look superb in person and you'll be dealing with a nice guy, too.

Hell, just buy both!
