Beginner's Grail Diary (Printable Pages + Discussion)

Hello Again!
Has been a while but due to overwhelming demand I've decided to share my Insert Files for this Grail Diary prop. I'm not entirely satisfied with it and am working towards better organization and recovering the original credits for everything so any assistance in that will be appreciated. I will also appreciate if everyone will please stop DMing me about the Indy Archive as It will most likely be ignored and clog up my messages. I'm slowly working on an improved version but due to life getting in the way, it's quite an effort so patience on this will be fantastic.
Hope you've all been well!
Celeste

I finally have a cover on!

I was originally planning to make a leather-wrapped-board cover, but I wasn’t feeling great about how that was turning out. So instead I went with a solid leather cover, and it turned out pretty good. It has some flex, but isn’t too soft, which is perfect. The overhang ended up narrower than I was planning on, but oh well.
The dye job ended up pretty uneven at first. I was able to get it more even with buffing and more coats, but I was still unsure it would work. Then I did some aging on the cover with wire brushes and it really pulled it together. I’ll probably do more aging on the cover at some point, as well as just carrying it around and letting it get banged up naturally.

Now I’m started on aging of the paper. I’m spraying each spread with tea and then drying with a hair dryer. It’s pretty subtle so far, so I may do a second pass of the same technique, but with coffee. It is adding a nice crinkly-ness to the paper though, which is great.

Very nice! Great job!

Diary is done! Maybe a bit more aging I can do, but I’m pretty much calling it done.

I also mostly finished the paper wrapping, with the label that I typed on my typewriter and the vintage stamps that I got glued on.

Only things left to do is get a custom Venice stamp made for the wrapping and get a replica US Silver Certificate.

Hi all, I saw a video a while back about how to age the paper using chalk but can't find it.

Anyone knows where to find it?

Just finished working on my Zeppelin Ticket. I made it from scratch on Illustrator, using some pictures of Magnoli’s replica for reference.
It’s all vector, so it should print great (not being vector is the thing that bugged me about any of the other versions I found).

I uploaded my PDF files to my Google Drive, including versions with and without typewritten text and stamps, depending on what you want to do post-printing. I did all the typewritten text for my own replica my typewriter.
I also added the separate files for the stamps I made, in case anyone was ambitious enough to make actual rubber stamps.

I also vectorized the best Lecture Series Ticket file I could find, which wasn’t very big. I’m not 100% happy with it, but it’s as good as I’ve been able to find.

Feel free to poke around my full Google Drive folder and use anything there. There’s a bunch of new stuff there now, pretty much all the files I used to make my diary.
The most time-consuming thing for me was making sense of all the insert files: what ones there are, what kind of paper to use, sizes, location in the book, etc. So I also included a Sheets file that lists all the inserts and paper wrap pieces I used and all the info I found about them. Hopefully that makes it easier for anyone embarking on the quest.

Here's mine. I made it about 12 years ago, I'm still to age the pages. This is the prop one but only a few inserts, the rest is to come but I'm definitely making a story one as soon as I get my laser printer!
