Beedle from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Hey guys, I'm wanting to dress up as Beedle from BOTW for DragonCon this year. I'm looking at the costume and it doesn't seem that hard. The one part that I'm getting caught up on is his backpack. I'll post a picture bellow. IT'S HUGE! I;m not too worried about making the shape. I've found plenty of patterns online for making a beetle that's the same shape. But I'm worried about how to make it so big. I could make something and fill it with stuffing, but I know that's going to be super hot. Anyone have any other ideas of construction methods?
