Hello .

Here some pics of my BCI TIE Fighter I built last week :

All pics can be found here : http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/monsieurtox/TIE/

I have to add the cannon and paint the rear window. I know on the prop the upper hull is a window, but there is no cockpit on the kit (solid body) and I drilled the upper part, so I detailed a bit this area .

Great job. :thumbsup Nice to see one in the ANH paint scheme for a change. What did you use for the base color?

Bill

Oh, and welcome to the RPF. :)

Looks great.. I have always loved the ANH paint scheme.

Please forgive me for my ignorance...what does BCI stand for? Is it the manufacturer name? I guess I am a bit out of the loop on this one.

In any case... Nice TIE Tox.

Yes you're right this is the manufacturer name . This TIE is in scale with the Vader's TIE by AMT (1/35 or 1/36 I don't know really . ). This is a great deal for the ones (like me :p) who can't pay the Steve Neisen one . It's not SS but it's bigger than the AMT ones, and the details are amazing .

Bottom line is that your work is speaking for itself.... LOUDLY. :D

VERY NICELY DONE...

Sorry,.. I get excited easily..lol

Very nice buddy, good to see you on here, saw your ISD lighting too, amazing bro, always a pleasure to see your updates......lee

Thanks =)
No I cant light her because it's a solid body and I don't have the stuff to make a hole in the cockpit ball :(

Tis alright.

There's still something great to be said about unlit models.
