I finally finished the commission for the BBC Sherlock's John Watson black jacket. What do you guys think?!
Based on the Shooting jacket that John Watson worn in seasons 1 and 2, I made mine out of black cotton twill fabric, vegan leather for details, and black corduroy.
It has black corduroy collar, vegan leather shoulder guard, two chest pockets, one with an additional outer pocket, hammer pressed brushed metal studs, leather button front, two large bellows double pockets and buttoned, vented cuffs. The rear of the jacket features a elastic waistband, Upper inverted vent for ease of movement and a double ended 'Poachers' pocket with Zipper and hammer pressed stud fastening, unstructured lapel that can be worn buttoned up or down. Internally the jacket is unlined. I am particular happy about the one I put the personal touch to - a reversible and removable liner. It can be worn unlined, black liner, or (my fav!) Newsprint side out!
