BBC MARVIN the Paranoid android 1:1 build

I had a quick test of the lower half. As you can see, my legs are a bit short, so the ankle/lower calf section isn't that proportionally visible. I'll just have to live with that - OR I pull up and shorten the thigh and calf parts a little. However, walking around with it as it is, is doable and comfortable.

Hello everyone (If there's anyone still here?)
Just thought I should pop a final update on to mark the project 100% complete.
I did the very last bits of tidying-up and last-minute glueing etc on August 7th, 2022, and had the first public outing in the suit at COMIC CON WALES at the ICC Centre, Newport, on Saturday 6th August.

It went down a storm, and you can find out all about my day here:

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Well, I didn't win the Cosplay championship final at Liverpool - probably as my Marvin is a rare character and the judges were a younger lot who were likely unfamiliar with the TV show. So I went home and in a few days, amanaged to (reluctantly ) SELL the entire suit to a great new home (will reveal later) and put the proceeds into the film budget for my upcoming second feature film, BLOODY STUDENTS (www.bloodystudents.co.uk)

I always tell my kids that a tournament/competition judge is generally a volunteer or spouse who was rolled into it. Never expect truth or professionalism from a judge. Excellent work all around and good luck on your next project.

Thank you! It's much appreciated.

Is this image real or a mock-up of a toy that might have been? I maintain a website dedicated to Matvin and, if it existed, would like to add this toy.
It's not a real toy, I'm afraid. Although I wished there were a line of toys when I was a teenager.
