The BBC america is running classic episodes of Tom Baker from 9-11.

Baker was my favorite Dr as a kid but they really don't compare to the writing and characters in the past few years.
It's like comparing the old Lost in Space to the new BSG series.
It also seems like they drag on. As a kid, I had to watch them in segments.
Baker's Dr is kind of a lovable klutz in space.

Anyone else have a hard time watching the old episodes?

1-4 TV
5-8 Audio
Couldn't care less for the others... occasional moments but in total, nothing.

I prefer the classic Dr. Who. I just can't get into the new ones. I'm not saying the new ones are bad, I just really like the old ones much better.

The only new Dr I liked was the 10th doctor, other than that it's the classic ones and Baker because he was in the pbs episodes i grew up seeing.

OK, Just saw "City of Death" (again) where Scaroth tries to undo human creation by stealing the Mona Lisa...
John Cleese in the Louve admiring the Tardis...brilliant.

Bad acting, cheesy special effects...Tom Baker rocks.
