Thanks for the input!

For the undersuit I bought HeatGear Underarmour. I may go back later and add a mess material under it but I think the solid black undersuit will look just fine.

For the parts that are supposed to be black, as long as they are distinguishable from the grey pieces I am fine with how they are now. It's almost dark enough to be black but it just isn't quite there. I actually like it now.

I will most likely start on the leg armor in a couple days. Stay tuned!

It has been a long time since my last update. Sorry everyone! You would not believe how busy my week has been. Today though I was able to get the top half of the right leg finished (except for the paint). This is also the first piece I have done without help from a friend. So your input is especially welcome for this piece. I am sorry for the poor pictures. It is difficult to take a picture of your leg while also holding an armor piece in place. Let me know what you think and hopefully I can do the other leg late tonight or early tomorrow.

Also. So I need a bit of help. The ab piece right now is just a single piece and not very practical (couldn't bend or sit with it really) which is a problem. If anyone has any ides of how I could redesign it to be more practical and still match the rest of the suit style I would really appreciate it!

I got a lot done today! I also received my boots in the mail! Whoo! Anyway. I have some adjustments to make on the leg armor (too tight in the back) as well as the gauntlets (too tight). So far though I am happy with the results. I tried my best to resist putting it on for a picture until I was completely done but I simply could not hold back.

That looks fantastic! I really like the gauntlet design.

For the color, did you use plasti-dip? I've always used black plasti and never had it turn grey. Not sure why that happened.

When I did foam, I used an iron to 'seal' the material then plasti. One time, I also put down a few coats of latex on the foam then plasti. Don't know if that info will help but there it is

It's official everyone, the suit itself is made, painted and finished! All I have to do is make the cape and get my cowl...which is two weeks late:angry. Expect pictures very soon!

Beautiful! If I had one critique it might be that the bat symbol is too big, get's kinda lost at the edges. Still, beautiful!

Finally got around to uploading the pics. The cowl I am wearing is a lower quality one. I ordered a professionally made cowl but it is 2 weeks late. The lighting reflects off of the suit so that is part of the reason the paint looks shinier in some spots (especially the Bat symbol) than others. I will be adding a layer of hodge podge to hopefully help with this.

This entire build has been an adventure and a labor of love so please let me know what you think of it! All comments/critiques are welcome!
