Batman panther cape and boots options?

I'm putting togheter a top quality Panther costume, my priority was to invest alot into the body armor, cowl and boots, but I can't justify spending $400 for a cape, the real ones are latex and apparently expensive to make, is pleather a good option and is there any patterns around?

For the boots it seems that only motorcowboy make them and they are $400 ouch!!! is there any cheaper alternatives?

For the gloves I was sent to this guy who apparently are pattern off original for only $175 shipped, I've seen them range from $300 to $500, again I can't justify spending $300 to $500 for gloves, I mean how much better can they be, I;ve compared photos and they are very similar and will do the job for my display.

check ebay. there is a guy in belgium who is selling panther gloves for like $125 which isnt too bad. im wondering about the boots and cape myself. i ussually just do ebay for most of this stuff. alot of times you can get good prices on ebay.
