Reevz, have you ever cast a cowl in foam? Your work looks great in latex, but I'd love to see one of your cowls in foam latex or urethane.

I've never cast my cowls in anything but urethane( I never use latex )...but I'd love to learn how to run foam..but I've heard it's a major pain in the ass to do

Sorry, I could have sworn I read a post indicating one of your previous cowls was cast in latex. Foam is indeed difficult to get perfect results with, from what I've heard.
Of course, you could skin your molds with urethane before running foam and not have to worry about self-skinning foams and, I would imagine, increase durability while having greater control over the finish. I don't know if the foam would adhere to the skin, though, I can't recall someone doing it before.
