Batman costume WIP

Hey guys, thought I would put up the first picture from my comic style Batman costume WIP. Big shout out to Reevz for the awesome cowl!

The suit itself is something I have put together from Nike underarmour with the symbol stenciled and then painted. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks dude! Always nice to meet a fellow Bat! Still got some work to do on the gauntlets, will probably use a combination of EVA foam and carbon fibre so whatch this space!

Also from one bat to another bat I like it. Keep up the good work. Gauntlets are always the hardest to find or get correct it seems. Nice work looks great again

Quick update guys! The gauntlets are becoming a pain in the arse! Looks like I might not be able to use carbon fibre after all because it makes shaping the gauntlets a nightmare! Will have some pics up soon.....

I'm also having the top half of my costume professionally airbrushed by a very good friend of mine to add muscle definition to the torso (couldn't afford to go down the dye-sub route...) so will have that back in a few days so again will have more pics to follow!

As promised here are the pictures of the gaunlet(s)! They are made out of EVA foam then sprayed with plasti dip. Still have to add the fins which will probably be hard black platic. The design is original but draws inspiration from Roman and Spartan vambraces. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks killer. Very clean look. I would love to see it with a yellow, brown or gold belt. Might make it pop. A really nice job, be proud.

Thanks for the positive comments! I am thinking about having a yellow/gold style utility belt to keep it more in line with the "Hush" style look. Keep watching this space.....
