Batman Begins Galvanise Metal Gauntlet

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to show one of my current projects. I have wanted to make a pair of Gauntlets from Batman Begins for my costume display. I'm far from finished but I wanted to get your input. This one is made of 1.5mm galvanise sheet. The gauntlet fins are made of 4 individual pieces of galvanise folded to 22 degrees so the 3 fins are made of 16 pieces in total. I still need to install a hidden door around the cuff so putting them on after installing the padding will be easier. I still have a lot of finishing to do and I know they are not screen accurate but I think they look pretty cool! Anyway please let me know what you think and If you have any questions please ask! Thanks for the comment. It's a bit of a squeeze getting my hand through at the moment but it is possible. Before I begin the second gauntlet I'll cut a section for a trap door for ease of fitting. I hope to use magnets to close the door and use a hinge also. As I will be padding the inside of the gauntlet I will for sure need to cut a door into it.
