Batman arkham origins WIP

I haven't been in here in a while. Looking absolutely fantastic. Did I miss what you are doing for gauntlets? If you don't have something in the works I may have something of particular interest to you soon. ;)

I might very well be interested, as the costs of fiberglass and raw materials here with all my trials and errors would probably be as much as what you would offer if not more... If you need reference shots, I have some very interesting images from the art book, and there is bound to be a in-game gallery in the game

Too far along for reference shots now I'm afraid. ;) Mind if I post pics in your thread later today?

Would still love to see any reference pics though!

Not at all ! Feel free to post whatever you want, I wouldn't even have attempted this suit without your cowl after all :p

This is an awesome thread dude! I'm about to embark and making this suit myself, it'll be my first full build. Subbed!

Will get up more shots once they are ready to mold. But real close now.

Re: Batman arkham origins WIP - pep unfolder needed !

What is that interesting back hand plate thing you're using?

I'm trying to work on a Deathstroke outfit myself and I noticed the texture guys love using that texture everywhere. It's on Batman, Deathstroke, Firefly, you can't get away from it.

But your build is looking really good so far.

Thanks. I have to redo the shoulder, as they're not big or doing enough, I'll share it once it's done no worries !
The hand plate is just styrene heat shaped with black carbon vinyl decal I found on eBay, the kind of stuff that usually goes on cars. It's rather cheap and looks great ! I'm still slowed down by the fact that no shop in town seem to have the foam tiles I used anymore !

This is looking excellent. So excellent I had to join the forum just to tell you how great it is.
I'm very very tempted to try this out myself...

Thank you. Don't hesitate, try it ! I'm not going to lie, it's not funny all the time, but it's not that complicated and quite rewarding, plus even if you don't wear it, it always makes a nice display.
I've been gluing side armours on, it's starting to look good, I just hope it will hold well enough.
My belt is still not finished either, mainly because I've been busy pulling more parts for people rather than me lately !

After talking with my GF about it yesterday I decided to go for it and give it a shot. Ordered a cowl from coofunkcurly, and now off to buy the foam sometime this weekend. ;) Glad I don't have any rush to get done since the soonest con I plan on going to isn't till May. Not to get working on building the gauntlets...

Can someone help me? I can't finish me gauntlets without this part1.JPG. It would great if it be a PDO format.
teragon your costume is so good that I didn't even possible to describe how it awesome
