Batcave diorama: The 1966 TV series

I'm wondering if anyone else here has built a batcave. Here's the one I built in 1/43 scale around the Corgi batmobile:

Here's a detail shot to show the scale:

The computers were made of sheet styrene, and the atomic pile features pvc pipe, metal rods, and model railroading details (ladders, etc.). The cave walls were made of expanding foam with acrylic modeling medium applied on top. Everything was airbrushed with a flat finish.

If anyone has a batcave to post, please do. Any era, any medium.

Thanks for looking,

Bob

You should have used a penny instead of a quarter. More symbolic...LOL Nice diorama.

Great work but you are missing all those tiny labels like Batcomputer, Batreactor....

nice... I remember one episode from the series, when the Joker troes to find the batcave and just found a scaled version of the batcave... that was sweet, too...

excellent.

instead of model companies making yet ANOTHER model of the Batmobile, perhaps they would consider making a diorama model KIT of Batcave AND Batmobile -- perhaps a tad larger in scale to what you've done...I bet THAT would sell.
