I really dig the features. I think Bob captured his face nicely and the detailing on the skin is awesome.

Ha, just noticed the little icon for the sculptures and makeup forum looks a bit like bane.

The head brace wavers to much, the original is an even thickness and it doesn't follow the profile of the scalp and brow it sits over it, the head harness needs to fit as though its flat bottom and everything sits over this. Flesh is soft and will mold to a more stiff material, so the flesh would give in tot he hardshore of the harness. The harness also has a crown point on center, bobs is sloping

Stay on bob like white on rice to get it right and not settle for an artist interpretation, I speak from experience on this! At least the mouth is covered on this so its not a smiling tom hardy~

Also, none of the detail pieces like the hoses and hose straps should be sculpted as they are found items, your camera left flexible tubing is inset lower deeper than the right side, the right side is wavering a lot, the entire harness should be as symmetrical as possible, its not an organic its a geometric so its much easier to measure and sculpt it evenly.

GOOD LUCK!

Hi Haywaire, can I ask why bob chose to sculpt the whole thing as one??

Would it not have been preferable (and potentially more accurate) to have scuplted hardy, then machined the mask as a separate??

Amazing work nonetheless, just curious...
