Bane-The Dark Knight Rises- 1:1 sculpt by Bob Dullam *June 18th update*

That is still one of the coolest things I've ever seen built!

I would be scared to death to leave that thing unguarded however.

Bob,
Do your thing, listen not to Jay Williams.:lol

You know what? Wiser words have never been spoken. :thumbsup

The only reason he wants this done to 'his' specs is so that once he recasts it he wont have to 'fix' it and actually waste his oh so valuable time in the process.

(y)thumbsup:thumbsupBad form Jay Williams.

Furthermore, I've worked with (and am currently working with) some of these "industry leading professionals" that you've name dropped time and time again on these forums and NONE of them have a clue who you are.
Amusing to say the least but very bad from on your part...and your critiques while noteworthy, hold NO importance and command ZERO respect simply because you do not contribute to these communities or artists..you prey on them.

Respectfully....*End Sarcasm*

Much thanks to all, David and everyone else for the support.

Yes I painted this using water color paint. Not a great painter by any means, Although I will say that it is fun. Relaxing, as it isn't as phyicially tiring. I really think that hand painting eyes is the future of this game, because when u think about it, a lot of those med. eyes are hand painted with a layer of clear over each stage, or something like that. So why can't this be done with the eyes coming out already inserted. I mean such a pain to have to dremel, or make the space proper for inserting the eyes, and getting them straight, etc....Also, why not a slightly trans. resin lightly flesh tinted to start? now that leaves only the hair issue to deal with...

Awesome work Bob. Paint job looks great and the whole thing overall is wicked. Any plans for a full statue? Now that would be awesome!!!

Wow must be the first watercoloured bust iv come across. I studied fine art using water coulour but have been dabbling with acrylic with my busts.
Must admit I didnt think it would be dark enough to apply and hold its colour but this really looks great.
I think you did a great job with the eyes. Im thinking of buying a foamed filled bust on here which may require painted eyes so I may be in touch for some tips :)

This would look so insane with a torso and that large coat he wears.
Superb work.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it. There are a couple of goofs I made, which no one has mentioned, or I suspesct no one caught (I'm not tellin). Those tubes I did were shoddy. No, I'm not talking about those, it's something I can't go back and redo.. the tubes can come and go, obviously.

I think I spotted one. After seeing the film and looking at this again a few times, something bugged me.
I remember especially in the scenes where Bane looks angry, his eyes are very dark brown although tom Hardy's eyes are blue, I think?
