Hey everybody,
I want to make my own Bane Mask because there arne't quality ones to buy for my budget.
First shopping is done, the E-6000 glue will arrive soon, then I will buy colour spray and then I can start with my mask.

I know it won't be accurate like many other masks. But it's good enough for me and I haven't the skills like many of you.

Cant wait to see how it turns out! I would also like to make one... Please post as many pics and tell us all about it!

So first step is to cut out all the respirator stuff which you will not need for the mask. I used a side cutter. Not the best tool, better use a little saw. ;)

Hey all, update! I sprayed the mask now. After drying I have to spray the other site. I decided for a "chocolate brown".

Also I did a colour test on the straws, which will be the tubes. It's a kind of silver which you can find at car fellys.

And sorry for the quality of the pics. I only can make pictures with my iPod.
Let me know what you think.

Hey, guys UPDATE.

I had to restart my mask because the paint was fallen of, so I searched for a paint which is elastic and hold on silicon/rubber. I end up on Acryl colour, which works pretty well. The grille I made out of a piece of plastic and screwed holes in it. The head pieces on the side are made out of foam sheets, which I will also use for the rest of the head piece. Next step are the tubes. So this is what I have so far, let me know what you think. And do'nt give too much on the lightning; in real the colour looks better:

Nice, turned out better than expected. Not that I was questioning your skills, but wasn´t too sure about that 3M mask. well done!

Good stuff so far. What did you make the front ribbed tubes out of? I can't read the text on the package you posted on the first pic.

All tubes are made out of straws. The ribbbed ones have an extra long ribbes part.

Nice, turned out better than expected. Not that I was questioning your skills, but wasn´t too sure about that 3M mask. well done!

I also had expected a lower quality. It's the first time ever I'm making a prop or costume part.
