Bandai release schedule

It'll probably be a repop of an existing kit, but in another colour, and everybody who wants a 1:24 AT-AT or an Imperial shuttle or a landspeeder will go aahhhgghhhh!

It’s been, what, 4 years since they first mentioned the Landspeeder kit? There needs to be some kind of statute of limitations on soliciting upcoming kits…
I think it was announced in 2023. It was supposed to be released last year, but Round2 had a development pause.

I would like to think that because the panel is about kit-bashing, that Bandai would be announcing a ship of some sort that demonstrated said kit-bashing (Fondor Haulcraft as a tie-in to Andor?), but my gut tells me it's gonna just be a figure kit or two.

I hope I'm wrong.

What would be the the ultimate kit bashed fighter? Hint: It rhymes with 'eye thing'. ;)

A fool can dream, can't he?

With Andor Season 2 coming, I would love to see the Fondor Haulcraft or the TIE Avenger seen in the new trailer, at least in 1/48 or larger. A larger U-Wing would be great as well.

The BANDAI SPIRITS Planning & Product design team will introduce new and limited products.

For posterity sake, my guess is the "limited" product bit is going to be repops of existing kits with some re-branding for new shows/movies
They may or may not have new a new sprue or two

Seeing the new trailers for Andor and the U-Wing, I am guessing the 1/144 kit might be a good candidate, possibly a repop of the existing kit but and possibly a "limited" one recolored for Saw's Partisan faction? Similar to how they had the "limited SDCC" version of the other B-Wing/ Of course that "limited" one eventually had a later release just without the light kit

Likewise we probably will see a repop of the either or both the 1/72 and 1/144 X-Wing with markings for the Partisan faction or any of the myriad of X-Wings that have shown up in in shows like Skeleton crew, Mandalorian etc...
Best candidate might be a Blue marking X-Wing as there have been several

The "new" kit will most likely be a figure kit, but some of the slightly altered re-pops from above could fit this category

When they mention the kit-bashing aspect, the Falcon comes to mind. They had a whole blog series devoted to kitbashing when they were releasing the Falcon that went through all the various kit sources that were used to make the filming model. It was the one kit were they really went out of the way to cover that aspect

Probably a wish listing thing, but could it be possible they might finally do a 5 gear version of the 1/72 Falcon?

I would kill for ANY repop of the PG Falcon. Now that I have and am working on my 350 Refit, that's the other bucket list model for me.

Although I just saw that Bandai are working on a 1/60 PGU RX-93 Nu Gundam which will also be high on my bucket list, and in the same ballpark pricewise as the PG Falcon. If they get around to a PGU MSN-04 Sazabi, my wallet (and wife) would never forgive me.

Violence isn't necessary. You could buy the PG Falcon right now for about $500 on the bay of e. ;)

But sometimes a little bit of the old Ultra violence is therapeutic.

I bought another PG Falcon a few years back (the price was too good to pass up!) to do the ESB conversion with, but man would it be sweet if Bandai themselves came out with one.
