Bandai release schedule

Entertainment Earth has a listing for "Star Wars Item E Model Kit" and "Star Wars Item F Model Kit" coming Jan 2020 for $32.99. Also "Star Wars New Item C Model Kit" and "Star Wars New Item D Model Kit" for $29.99. Hard to tell if these are ships or figures.

Awesome. Well I guess with 4 kits the chances of a vehicle are pretty high. No doubt timed for TRoS.

Has there been any precedent for naming before ?

Hopefully not all TRoS figures or vehicles. Although I may be interested in a Kylo Ren Tie Silencer in 1/72.

According to this page, their is 1 new figure kit and 5 model kits

Although, setting expectations based on past offerings...

The 1/12 Item B figure kit is probably a Sith Trooper but it could also maybe be an updated repop of a First Order Trooper or even Kylo Ren with a minor change

The 59.99 "Item A" kit is probably a repop of the 1/144 Falcon, possibly with some minor updates like a new dish and maybe a Lando figure etc..

One of the remaining 4 kits is most likely a recolored Poe X-Wing. he now has an orange and off white x-wing with a different marking pattern

Another may also be a recolored standard resistance x-wing

I am also guessing one or two of the others may be repops of the First Order tie or Special Ops tie.

As seen below, it looks like they might have some extra orange colored armor or bits added around the cockpit ball.

Bandai loves to be able to re-use molds with some minor updates

That only leaves one or two spots at the most left for something totally new

I am guessing if we do see a new vehicle, it might be Kylo Ren's new Tie Fighter. I doubt we will see a Tie Silencer since it seems he has moved on and Bandai already passed on it from The Last Jedi run of kits

I'd bet a box of donuts we're getting that triangle TIE and Kylo's Interceptor ride. If one of the kits is Poe's orange creamsicle-wing, it'll be a hard pass from me. If the figure kit is the Sith trooper... meh. If it's the jet pack trooper... maybe. My enthusiasm will depend entirely only whether I enjoy the movie. I didn't love everything about Lando's Falcon when i first saw it, but I really liked Solo, so it became an easy get.

Are you sure those listings are for bandai kits? If you look at their gunpla line, they rather behave like typical japanese company that doesnt trust their western partners and inform them about new stuff only after it was officialy announced on domestic market (the only exception I can think of was MG Barbatos).

I am pretty sure those are the Bandai Star Wars kits

edit: here is a better link

I'm thinking it will be Kylo Ren's tie, and a new First Order tie variant. It looks like they both share the cockpit ball, and for the First order tie kit, they could probably reuse the rest of the existing kit, but with the added orange bits. Then they could also use that for the Kylo Ren kit swapped with a new set of wings

I’m pretty sure we won’t be seeing a Kylo Silencer from Bandai unfortunately. It doesn’t appear to be in TROS so the time seems to have passed.

It looks like they both share the cockpit ball,

The cockpit balls look noticeably different from one another to me. From the cockpit frames to the sides add ons.

The Tie dagger is for sure, but the Tie to the lower right of the interceptor one looks to have the same basic stuff as the interceptor. I could be mistaken though

I hope they do not mess the Y-Wing up for this next movie. Unlike the T-70's which got upgraded to a newer model, the Y-Wings are much older craft which gets most of it's look from having the early skin removed. One image I saw of the new Y-Wing had the engines much shorter and the much longer support rods to those thrust vector things

regarding the lighting kit for the Star Destroyer, are all LED's are white or are the engines one's are blue?

Mine has 4 LEDs with a light yellow/white glow and 6 with a blueish/white hue. Instructions indicate the 4 yellowish hue strands light up the front of the ship and the 6 bluish ones light up the engines, the bridge tower and the wedding cake area.

Just finished assembling the SD, and after reading many comments, decided not to include lighting. Sounds cool in theory, but in reality I'd probably turn them on once or twice, and I don't see my wife or kids begging for a light show lol.

Anyway, after wrestling the wedding cake onto place and seeing the gaps it left, I'm glad I went the non-lit route. Can't imagine having to take that on and off every time I wanted to access the switches. Also think my top hull is bent just a wee bit at the very front, but I glue-welded most of it down so I don't think it's too noticeable.

Overall, typical great Bandai molding and detail, but they didn't do themselves any favors making it so small. Even six more inches would've helped (what she said, etc) and might have ameliorated issues with light leaks and warped hulls. There's also quite a bit of trumpeting of the "incredible detail" crammed into the 30cm kit in the accompanying literature--methinks the lady doth protest too much?

Along with the modeling guides that include tutorials for fiber optics and photos of studio model, can't help but wonder if originally was going to be a bigger kit, but then the Zvezda hit the market. Ah well, guess we'll never know.

There are many more possible options. Maybe they do even a SD repaint to be named Sith SD. A mini-kit and/or regular kit of Kylos SD might be possible too.
Wouldn´t might to get a .144 Resistance Bomber as well as .144 Gorilla-Walker from the last movie
