Bandai release schedule

It's fun to have these R2 variations, but if I'm going to buy background droids I'd prefer the bug-eyed protocol droid (silver or black version), IG-88, or the probe droid. Those, of course, would come after a droideka and super battle droid. But that's me.

That would require actual development, and not just pumping different color plastic, in the same old molds. ;)

A couple possible clues about ships and figures in Episode IX. We can speculate which ones will end up being Bandai kits. I would say three for sure -- new (old) Resistance fighter, new TIE, and new trooper figure. Contains some light spoilers (could also be BS):

or based on The Last Jedi product line....

we get a recolored X-Wing repop in 1/72 and 1/144 vehicle collection

a repop of the First Order Trooper with an alternate helmet

and Revell puts out non-scale versions of the Tie Fighter and Resistance A-Wing "toys" and also adds the new First Order Tie Interceptor to the non scale lineup

and we spend years after hoping Bandai might release the Kylo Ren's tie and the new First Order Tie Interceptor in 1/72

..and then instead they will release more previously undone OT subjects like the Tie Bomber

Are those Tie Fighters concepts from Episode 7. I think I remember seeing them in the Art of Book...

Also I wonder if Bandai will reveal any new kits at SWC in a few weeks.

Yes, a similar TIE was in the Art of Force Awakens book. I couldn't really tell what kind of dish was on the Falcon, but there's some kind of fuzzy blob there. Looks like it might be rectangular again.

From what I understand, the Falcon's dish will be a triangular shape.
