Didn't know they made a DS2. They always get all the panels so wrong.

At this scale they should have left the outer hull smooth and represented those "panels" and other surface detail with waterslide decals, but I understand Bandai's intent is to make these kits as easy to build as possible so... :unsure

I mean if I was a kid opening up a DSII kit and all I see is flat untextured plastic I'd be pretty disappointed.
Still, might buy the combo kit once the build list runs dry.

I got the combo pack last week and I think it looks better in person than in photos.
I might add some stretched sprue and a few chips, but IMO the detail already there is pretty good considering the scale
