Badger Head.

I am about to release my second book and I'm looking for suggestions on creating or buying a badger head, one that I could wear for promotional work. I've looked everywhere but the usual sites have cheap tacky costumes. I'm looking for something that i could customize to move , i.e mouth.

Go Badgers! (My alumni lol)

If you are crafty, I would look at building a foam head and furring/finishing that. Otherwise, you could commission a builder to make one for you. I don't know if I clicked on the same one as chibobber, but it looked awesome until I pulled up a price on the custom menu: The 'low end fur' version was $840 (with 40% off).

Anyways I would put up an add in the want to buy section, there are a few people here that can build these without it breaking the bank.

Thank you, yeah some are really expensive. And most look awful or too cartoon like, i need an ultra realistic version. I'll look into building my own and if that doesn't work then try finding someone who is good at it. Thank you.

Probably pretty intuitive, but if I were approaching it, I would foam-build a skull and jaw, 3d print teeth and inner mouth details, glossy half-spheres for eyes, and then hand-trim fur sections using the foam template as a guide and hot glue them right on. I've done a ton of foam and fur work, but for something hyper realistic that could be quite a bit more different.

Might want to check out Joatrash's thread on his Rocket Racoon too, he might have some ideas in there:
