Just a quick question - can these be painted with a standard spray paint or does it need to be plasti-sol? Only asking because I'm in the UK and it seems a bit of a rarity over here!

Thanks in advance

i used reg black spray paint on mine and it started to flake off, maybe it depends on the brand. But I ended up using plasti-dip in the none spray form and putting it on with a sponge and have had no problems since.

best way that i find for backer rod dreads is liquid latex witch is £3 on ebay for 250mm and add some black water colour acryic paint and it give weight to the backer rod witch results in a lot better movment. if useing this remomber to sprinke some talken powder over them when dry so they dont stick together.. hope this helps
