Back to the Future

They are printed on to A4 water slide decal sheet for an ink jet printer. You can buy lots of different brands of it. It does have a clear back ground but because they are so thin it doesn't notice much. Remember that the decals do have to be coated with clear laquer before you use them though otherwise the ink runs when you put water on to apply them.

Here's another set of stickers for you. If you have Marty's AIWA cassette player and the original headphones, but you are missing the headphone stickers, then you can print them yourself now. I made the stickers in two different colors: in gray and in green. I think the gray ones are more screen accurate.

Question about Marty's Letter
The stationary from Lou's Cafe. What would have been the right dimensions for the letter?
Was it a standard paper or was it from a specially printed block like some restaurants have?

The letter is smaller than standard US-Letter size. It's US-Executive 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches (18.415 x 26.67 cm). And the envelope has US-Monarch size 7 1/2 x 3 7/8 inches (19.05 x 9.8425 cm).

A lot replicas out there are just 8x10, I knew something wasn't right with that. Hopefully we'll have a good one someday.

I have attached my screen accurate 1955 version of Marty's letter. No changes are necessary to either of the typeface/fonts.
I matched both of the fonts to the original letter using the HD screencaps below and photos of production-made stationery for reference. :thumbsup

Several years ago RPF member youngpaddy1 shared the correct handwriting taken from these Blu Ray screencaps I posted.
There are other production-made copies of this letter that do NOT match the handwriting in the screen used letter!

In the movie, the writing on the aged 1985 version of the letter to Doc does not match the 1955 letter.

If you print these on the Executive/Monarch stationery in the size that Roland posted, and you will have an exact replica. :cool

These are shared for free personal use only and are not to be sold. Thanks!

I found a decent photo of the aged, taped together 1985 version of Marty's Letter to Doc. Click for larger image.
I compared it to screencaps, and this is the actual screen-used prop that is seen at the end of the movie.
