Back to the Future

thanks roland

I received your PM, but when I tried to answer, I got the message "merlin1974 has chosen not to receive personal messages or may not be allowed to receive personal messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her."

This is, what I tried to send you:

Salut Hervé,

all paper prop replicas I have, you can also find here in the forum for free. The only three, I made myself, are the "Save The Clock Tower" flyer, Marty's driver licence and today the family photo of Marty and his siblings. But I'm planning to make a lot more BTTF replicas in good quality. You just need to wait. I will share them for free with everyone, when they're ready.

Do you have any paper props, that couldn't be found in the forum?

Sorry, didn't know, that you still worked on it. Is your work better than mine? I would like to see a better one. Why don't you share it with us?

Roland, your work is far better than mine. Just in case you were curious attached is as far as I got.

I was using the transparent auction photo and attempting to re-fill Dave & Linda - Had to steal Daves' face from one of the Stoltz pics.
I hadn't printed it yet but figured at wallet size it should be good enough.

But now with your work we have a complete set.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thanks for all the awesome work so far and look forward to see what you come up with in the future (or is that the past?)

Refill the transparent parts of Dave and Linda? You've gone the more difficult way. I'm sure, it has lasted half an eternity to complete your photo. I've gone the "easier" way: I used a HD screen shot from the scene, where Marty clamped the photo behind his guitar strings (this is the scene, where you can see the family photo most sharply), to get the pictures of Dave, Linda and the background behind Marty. Of course, I had to stretch parts of the screen shot here and there (that was very difficult on Dave's waving arm) and made some color and brightness corrections, but it worked fine.

You're welcome. I'm always happy, when I can do something good for the fans (and of course for my own collection ;)). I know, how difficult it is to get good paper prop replicas without paying money for it.

Whatever! :D

And yes: I'm planning to make a lot more paper prop replicas from BTTF. ;)

Cool !!! :thumbsup

Some pics not screen-accurate (promo-pics), but could fit perfectly into BTTF:

Some interesting concept sketches:

And I found that on a torrent-site, someone was genius enough to cap the right moment in 1920x1040:

That's confusing... You want to launch your own project by "making" poker chips? And by "making them", you mean you want someone to take someone else's chip artwork, remove the watermark for you, and that will be your contribution? :lol
It will be another nice piece for your collection at the expense of the watermarked artist, and the time if a fellow RPF member who put time in removing the watermark for you.
