Back to the Future Part II

@Brigandia36

I agree with Emma. You probably don't read much newspapers. If it happens today, it's tomorrow in the newspaper. It's not as fast as the Internet, you know?! (And in 1989 they even had no Internet!) ;)

You are right Roland ! I don't read much newspaper because I don't have enough money to buy newspaper; My family and I are so poor, the first time I ate meat was when I bit my tongue.

It' ok if you disagree with me, I can't force you to be right.

What disagree? Newspapers are printed the next day something happens. It's a fact.

Thanks Roland, I'll include it with your newspaper set. Since I've already got another copy, you can keep this one. :cool

Thanks, Daniel. :) Please, don't send anything before I give you my new address (I've moved three months ago).

Is there someone here who have the picture of the entire shop "Blast from the Past", just the exterior, or what is written on the windows left and right of "Antique Coins" ? Thank you.

I can't find a clear photo of the entire front, but from various sections, I can piece together that it says-

WE BUY | ANTIQUE COINS | AND BILLS

What are you working on? I might be able to help out.

I can't find a clear photo of the entire front, ...

But I can. ;) Here's a screen cap of the entire text:

Speaking of Blast From the Past... Look what I found at Goodwill for $6.00 this weekend:

A quaint little piece from the 1980s...and it works! Looks awesome next to my Almanac and Hover Board.

Nice :D I'm myself collecting some stuff from the shop XD! Will try to make a thread by the end of the month ^^

Awesome! I have a few of the items...only because I already owned them in the 80s and still had them around :rolleyes not really planning to collect. But I figured I would put them with my BTTF2 collecton anyway. Cleaned out some boxes from storage and found a few items and was going to through them away when I saw the pics of the store front and recognized the items.

By the way, how's the USA Today revamp coming along, Emma?

Well I can't really keep going until I receive the original one, but Batfan10 didn't receive it yet :x So I don't know, I hope I'll have it soon!

Hey guys... Off hand, can anyone print on acetate? I have a need for the Pepsi Perfect logo (as seen on the table top that the bottles lift up through) printed at 14" round on clear acetate. I tried a local print shop, but they wouldn't touch it because of the "Pepsi" name. But I cannot use vinyl as I want light to pass through.

I can print in color with my laser printer on transparent self-adhesive vinyl (suitable for laser printers) up to A3 size - that's 16.54 x 11.69 inches. Which file do you want to have printed?

Edit: oh, I see - you need it in 14 inches round! In that case A3 size is too small of course.

That might work if the logo can be in three sections. Maybe the top waves as one decal, the lettering as another and a third decal for the bottom waves. I can piece them on the surface. As long as the color is printed on the transparent vinyl, it should work to pass light through.
Pm on its way ;)

So Roland might be able to cut a decal for me but I need a vector file. I can probably find time to make one in a couple weeks due to work load, but I thought I would see if anyone already had the PEPSI PERFECT logo in a vector file?

Rich,

please send me a PM with your email address. I recreated this Pepsi Perfect logo with CorelDraw a few years ago. Unfortunately I can't upload vector files here.

Which format do you like?

Dietrich
