Back to the future 2015 NIKE's

Javamonkey - those soles are great. very well done ... do you plan on making a mould and casting them when you complete them?

Once the soles are complete Javamonkey will hopefully cast these in clear rubber and send a set to me. I will then get going on the top part of the shoe. I can't wait to se how these turn out.....

Anyone actually considered speaking to a footwear manufacturer about doing these??

I mean factories.

Remove all NIKE branding and get specs drawn up and find a company (add NIKE branding at a later date)

Ive started a thread regarding my quite possibly or indeed definitely stupid attempt to use magnets inside a board to make it hover.

It will all end in tears when a pair of scissors flies my way.

Heres the thread if your interested... :D LINKY

Again, this isn't something that will happen overnight.

I have no input in making these, but I just wanted to mention this as I have not seen it anywhere here.

In watching The Terminator a couple of weeks ago on HDNet, I noticed that Reese wore a pair of Nikes that looked exactly like the ones used to make Marty's shoes. They were shown in 2 scenes that I can remember.

My point is, actually more of a question, were the base of these shoes actually made and sold in the early to mid 80's?

If this was touched on somewhere else I apologize for wasting space. :D

They are close, but I truly believe that the BTTF Nikes were completely made from scratch...
