Considering its made from paper and its weight is not much. it would be easy to add 2 opposing magnets to make it hover.

For sure! might need a small tether from the side to keep it centered above the magnets though. Looks great, im going to have to build this ASAP! Hover board...Ha! Classic!

I would recommend just making a board out of foam and making the bottom pieces from the plans from this. That's what I did and it turned out great.
