Well, as some of you know, Stray Dog and Jin-Roh are based off the same manga, Kerberos Saga, by Mamoru Oshii, and recently, due to a really good sale over on HLJ.com, I picked up one of Takara Tomy's 1/6 Kerberos Saga Panzer cops figures. Specifically, Kouichi Todome, the main character of the series, and I have no clue why he was so cheap for being a main character.
Anyway, after getting home today and pulling out the extremely well done packaging, I snapped some pics. One very cool attribute of the packaging is that it is separated into figure side and weapons/accessories side. However, you can put the entire figure together and place all of his extra parts onto the figure side with no trouble.
Ok on with the pics:
This guy was packed with add-on and swappable option parts. Two heads, one blank for wearing the mask and one character head with removable sunglasses that can actually fold up (wth), two different right thigh armors, one with holster for gun and one without. It also comes with 7 different hands and they even went so far as to make two different gun holding right hands, one for the MG34 specifically and one for the Mauser. The articulation is second to none, but the thickness of the suit makes it a little difficult to put him in a bent arm pose and expect him to stay that way.
One of the features I love about the figure is that his red eyes are clear red hemisphere over a reflective back and even with the slightest like they sort of 'glow' with out electronics, though I am considering rigging something.
Later on I can take more photos of the packaging and accessories, etc, if anyone is interested.
