Avp Suit -Suit Progress (Updated 01/10/2012) Pics -Look!

greetings my fellow hunters

i have been working on my suit for a while and after much persuasion from colm(tuath) i have decided tp post a thread on my progress. first up is the main body. i bought a full body wet suit from my local ALDI store and then got myself to my local woodies hardware store. first i got cotton padding and other bits and bobs and started cutting out various shapes and sizes for the abs. then i got a big black bag full of polystyrene beads and used a glue gun to apply glue and covered certain areas with the polystyrene beads to give it that bumby skin effect.

i put polystyrene beads on the legs and the back as well as other areas. i took into account also where the AVP armour will cover up so drew a few sketches first which proved quite useful.i went down to my art shop and got a few packets of fluff balls and put the around the body mostly along the legs,

this is the work i have done so far and its not finished but i am still working on it and i will get more progress as time goes on.

this is part of a costume thread i will be updating please feel free to comment on any of the items or progress. i am a 16 year old boy and its for a celtic body suit i'm making. if you have any if you have any ideas or suggestions on how to improve or make the suit look better please feel free to comment.

Though Tauth is right it is usually better to upload pics on photo bucket for the most part. I can still see these and I don't even have to sign in to my account so he his pictures are viewable for the mean time.

Besides that...

Nice start you got there, believe me I tried something along these lines and you will have fun putting the latex on this baby.. and you will be smelling it for weeks lol..

thanks i have cut out more foam for the chest and abs, its looking great so far and am really happy with the progress.

i have other friends helping me with other bits and pieces such as the gauntlet computer and a friend told me he could make the wrist blades retract too, but i gave him your email colm so he can talk you through what he is going to do. he is also making a computers predator writing board. i have skulls on the way soon. still awaiting the netting to come in the post though.

the suit is big enough and will last me about 2-3 years as its an xtra large and i can fit in it and have a space which i can put a layer of clothes on me under the suit such as a body cooler vest and tracksuit etc.

No mine is the one that has foamies and the wetsuit. The group is called predators ireland and the suits are made form other people such as tuath, predator666thepain666 and others

heres some pictures of me suited up on halloween, the suit was not completed then but is still in progress and is being repainted along ith the head and part.

a long time ago now, but here is a few pictures off my phone from when i was shaping parts on the suit and applying latex(the fun part for me) ;-)
