hi there from new zealand guys & gal's !!.........lance here !.........ive been a bit quiet on these forums lately,so heres one thing iv'e been up to......
the ARMAGEDDON pulp culture expo was held here over 3 days,and i was asked by the local guys at 20th century fox to troop in my suit,to help promote the
upcoming film.
a fellow costumer and friend (thanks dan!!) took some footage,and has made a short youtube video out of it...........i hope you like it !!
the music's got a few naughty words,so viewer discretion is advised.(and yeah,i realise my arms seams are showing.........lol sorry bout that !)

Awesome shots mate and good to see you there

Sorry I couldn't troop with you at the same time but I do have a few pics to add once I get them developed later.
Video is killer also and I would have loved to have been in it with you.
Maybe I'll come down to Welligeddon next April and we can troop together then?

Looks like you got plenty of attention

gota agree about the 1st photo, thas funny, the kid looks in total awe, alittle like a rabbit in headlights of a car, knows he should run away but cant.

i must say you also look like your getting more comfortable suiting up and moving around in it.

The first photo is indeed up for framing, you could sell prints of that one ^^

.......i walked into the elevator,with a couple of friends who "watch my back" while im in the suit,........the the lil kid was totally
in awe of the suit. (a lil bit scared perhaps,but mainly he was stoked that he saw the pred up close........lol !!)
my friend snapped the pic.
i agree,its one for the wall fer sure !!..........

roll on AVP-r !!........i'll be doing the premiere down under with fox's full support.

What a great suit, Bovine13 and myself worked very hard to get the same quality and detail as you. Your suit looks so much more comfortable that ours. I had a hard time seeing out of my Bio and moving around in general. The video was amazing and you played the part great. It is always a charge just watching the public faces when a Predator walks in. You and your suit were the show stopper. Thanks for the movie and the pictures.
 
Could you share how FOX got in touch with you? I'm planning on hitting the premier of AVP R in my area, it would be cool to do so with their support.

Ditto! I may be the only one crazy enough in my area to do it, but who the hell cares! I'm gonna go and have me a blast!!
 
with regards to contacting fox,............i simply walked into my local theatre,and asked to speak to the manager.
i told her who i was,and directed her to my website (has pix of my costumes)
i then asked her if she would please provide me with contact details for the guys from fox,...........and voila !!..........sucsess !!

(or you could just email or phone the local fox office)

i can see fox gettin inundated wth emails/phone calls now hehe.

at best a few people are gonna get some FOX approval, at worst itll bring more of the LAIR to their line of sight.

Well I've heard about the Hunters forums and have tried too look for them so now thanks to that awesome members vid Lance posted on the O42 boards I've finally found you guys.

I tried to look for an intro thread but saw this one first it's NZ related and good enough for me.

You guys can Call me DannyBoy I'm another guy from New Zealand I made that vid of Lance at Auckland Armageddon. I wanted too give the vid some real edge and put in a song that pred fans and an actual pred would like.

It was really cool to troop with the preds I could not believe that there were not 1 but 3 preds at this years Armageddon

This is my favorite pic of the event this guy is cool I never got too meet him out of costume tho'
I look forward to seeing more of this great website and perhaps getting into my own pred costume for now just put me down as a wannabe pred.
