AVP Armor Templates By VinMan

The Chest Armor

Sorry for the delay for all of you who are using these templates but I finally have a chest template I think with a little creativity on your behalf you should be able to make work.

This one by far was the most difficult one for me to put together.

Here is a pic of the chest put together and the templates

Good Luck and have fun!

is there any way to get a actual size on them. i have a 48" computer monitor so they already look lifesize, however they were not bigenough when i cut them out. just seein if there was a inch size, ro close to but not exact fi that makes any sense. if not nvm then.

you could try and make the picture bigger by blowing the picture up by say another 10% and so on

but remember the when you do that the whole thing will increase in size so i t might lot massive on you,

what exact part is it the you need to be bigger

i havent even started on it yet. the whole thing alone is confusing to em for some odd reason. i mean. i can cutt eh pieces out, but i dont know how to put themt ogether. i guess im alittle retarded on this one. are there any shin templates?

no none yet

as the way the curves were on the AVP shins it was hard to get a bulging curve on the calf muscle area

vin ended up buying a pair of latex shins, im having a go but to no joy at this moment

i have a pair of latex P1 shins but looking for AVP shins

each picture int he templates of the chest piece.. do each item in each picture go together, or is it all separate then u assemble once its all cut out? i could so be working ont hat right now. its pretty much the only thing i have left till i start airbrushing. aka this damn piece is holdin me back lol. any kind of explanation on how u did it, picture wise, to get ti through my head would be nice. if there is such a way. the front and back of the cest plate confuse me, i keep wanting to throw **** ont he back when it goes on the front.

what to do is cut all them out

they are all labelled, cut out the parts then layer them in order

then glue

yeh Im talking about a template that follows through from the chest peace and goes around over the shoulder blades.... if that makes scenes :D

First let me thank you personally for the time you have spent on these templates. I won't make this long, but I decided yesterday this was something I wanted to tackle. It has been overwhelming, but I enjoy making stuff on almost every level, so once I stumbled onto this thread, a big grin was on my face. Thank you thank you thank you!

I can not wait to get started now, and I really appreciate your help.

Just superb. These templates are terrific and good to see so many folk making use of them. Now come on vinmanmac, hows about doing the same for P1 armour?

Hey, I am a nice guy but I'm not that nice.

I created these templates in order to make my own set of AVP armor. there are countless hours in them.
I wanted everyone who cares to use them benefit from them as I have benefited from all the advice and trial and error from others here.

I have a full time job, Very busy freelance design business, two young children in school, a wife pursuing a masters degree, I myself am pursuing a black belt in Tae Kwon Do
And in the process of completing my own Pred suit.

The last thing in the world I am able to do is drop all that so I can spend more countless hours creating a new set of templates for a costume I myself do not have the time to create.

I am very flattered and pleased that everyone here has been so appreciative of these templates. I never imagined they would be utilized to the extent they are.
If I could fit in the time I would. it's just not possible.

Thanks again

VinMan

No worries, I wasn't being serious (note wink) and no need for you to explain why you're not doing them. I realise how time consuming all this Pred stuff takes and kudos to you for sharing the AVP stuff. Excellent work all round.
Cheers.
