Avengers Drama

Man that is terrible. Edward Norton is my favorite actor. He does best with roles that suit his ability to play 2 personalities at the same time. He was Incredible as the banner in 2008, and would have been great in the avengers. I wonder if this decision could be reversed, because I would love to see him again.

I think his HULK movie has actually gotten better with time. I'd like to see the extended cut he was arguing for. It kind of sucks, most outlets (as well as his rep) are reporting that he really wanted to do it.

I agree with STARTREKTOS, and would love to see our hometown guy reprise his role. Shame, I guess ultimately the studio is looking at cutting cost where it can (actor wise) in order to possibly get a mulit-movie deal inked, after all, the cost of the talent was a factor in killing the X-Men movies...that and poor writing:lol. I would assume that most of the budget will be spent on special effects.

I just happened to watch "The incredible Hulk" again on Saturday. I hadn't seen in since it first came out and decided to rent it again. I thought he did a good job in it and it was definitely better than the first movie.

Sincerely,

Edward Norton

P.S. If Marvel decides to pay me more money I may be inclined to return as Dr. Bruce Banner because I really love the Hulk.

P.S. 2 It seems like I came across as sound greedy in P.S. so please forgive me because I am not. I did the movie strictly for the love of the character and not the $8,000,000.00 paycheck. I really do love the character!

agree. ed norton is a talentless tool. dont tell me fightclub is agreat peice of film work.

Fight Club was awesome. But not because of Norton. Now, that said, from what I hear Norton is a nightmare to work with. So I'm not surprised Marvel dropped him.

Enough of the Norton bashing..."Talentless Tool"-Give me a break:rolleyes. He is an extremly talented actor (at least in a class far above the majority of today's so called Hollywood A-Listers), and he wanted to do the film, period. The press release from Marvel was less than classy. Kudos to Mr. Norton for taking the high road:thumbsup

I'm indifferent about Ed Norton. I've enjoyed him in a few things and will agree that, at the very least, the man is a talented actor.

What gets me is the way he's being treated... apparently the man was never given a chance and at least appeared to want to do this. Of course, that could be just the public reaction to what Marvel started.

So, yeah... thumbs down to Marvel for this move. :thumbsdown

I knew he wasnt going to appear in the avengers, but I thought it would be norton's decision not marvels.

Wow, Marvel is lame..The way they came off is very classless. I'm sure they are still bitter over the event that took place between norton and the publicity surrounding the second hulk, but to recast the hulk in Avengers is a bad move especially since they cant find an actor to stay in the role more then one movie.

Norton is a great actor..I hear he is one of the biggest pricks on set, but he does have talent..

Don't get me wrong. I like Norton. And Marvel did handle it all kinds of wrong. But Norton's reputation is of being a pain in the ass to work with. *shrug*
