Avengers 2: what would you like to see?

Wow. This thread has gone from a movie topic to a conversation worthy of The Big Bang Theory! LOL I can just see Sheldon ranting and Raving about why he is SURE that Avengers 2 should have The Flash in it... Keep it up; there are no rules, here. Just remember what the topic is. I have learned quite a bit about Thor's hammer. I didn't even know it had a name two weeks ago!:$

A.) The Hulk can't lift the hammer. Remember on the ship, he tried? He nearly pulled himself into the deck platting!

B.) If they bring Thanos into A2, then they have to bring the Fantastic 4 into it, as well. Since Thanos can control the same energy that gave them their powers, it would make for a hell-of-a twist. And Inferno's attitude would only heighten the dynamic already shared between Cpt. America and Stark. ( And I would love to see how Iron Man's armor holds up to 10,000 degrees kelvin.) :love

First, Shedon knows his comic books well enough to know Flash is a DC character and has no place in an Avengers movie. He'd lobby for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver though.

Can't bring Fantastic 4 into Avengers 2 whether Thanos is in it or not. Fox owns the movie rights to the F4. Thanos originally appeared in Iron Man, which is how Marvel has the movie rights to him I expect.

Lastly, while I like the hell out of Phil, I don't think he's worthy to lift Mjlornir. Maybe after the "oh, that's what it does" bit, but I'm sure the guy's had to do some hinky stuff for S.H.I.E.L.D. on the side. Again it comes down to what qualifies a person as worthy. We gotta answer that before speculating on who is worthy

I would like to really see Hawkeye and Black widow thrive as Avengers. For the first 3/4 of the flick he was not fully Hawkeye. Black widow had her hero moments in The Avengers and Iron Man 2. Hawkeye hasn't really experienced his Hero Moment.

Correct if I'm wrong but Hulk did lift his hammer off pure strength and will power in the comics.

You see, that is my problem... I think I have had some great ideas, but I haven't read a comic book since I was 12. Y'all have a much better grasp on things than I do, when it comes to character types and role dynamics. I have had to research some of the things y'all are bringing up just to know what the hell is going on. But bring it on! I am glad I started this thread; it's a fun subject!

UM... I don't think Cpt. America ever got laid. And by the movies time-line, he'd be more like Stark's grand-father, anyway. That would be a really cool twist though!

But seriously, Hulk needs to be turned or seen as a threat in Avengers 2 or 3.

Even though it was only for a short bit they already used up their Hulk mind-controlled card. I doubt they want to show that again so soon. I'd like Antman and Wasp added to the team and we could have Ultron as an earth based villian. Maybe even have behind the scene one of Thanos' people or himself corrupt Ultron's programming to be the threat in the 2nd film. This could allow for Ultron to corrupt Ironman's armor and give RDJ more face time having to work in a lab with antman while the other heavy hitters fight.
